After a visitor with Gordon (EAA228) I decided to follow-up by removing the UMHW blocks on the rudder control tubes to split and re-install them. Without this step it would remain a real challenge to ever R&R the tubes or make pedal (leg) adjustments.
Done in 2 hrs - with the forward skin on the equipment bay still off.
Then installed the Rt Elevator, and check freedom of movement. Within specs and ready to rivet the travel limit stops in-place to close-up the empennage.
