Removed VS, and Rt Elevator, to get to the HS. Removed HS and attached left under-elevator fairing (rough cut) with tape, and aligned for spacing of screws. Drilled and tapped for 6-32 into the longerons.
Match-drilled the fairing strip, attached with screws and reiteratively placed the HS in position and marked the fairing with the HS as a guide. Filed, deburred and repeated.
Filed down some fiberglass on the empennage fairing, too.
