Cut-out a test vent and evaluated different designs, and need to consider a removable 'access panel' approach vs a riveted overlay to attach new NACA. (Original was poorly cut to fit inlet and alignment).
Applied a couple of fiberglass patches on the empennage fairing, and roughed out some high spots.
Cleaned wings and prepared skins for final assembly. Found some areas on one skin which needed to be scuffed and treated. Probably touching something in garage which contaminated it. Metall Polish works well for surface treatment after scuffing.
Ordered Aveo experimental LED lights for tail/nav/strobe/landing.
