Received my Vans shipment with sheet and strip Alum. A 4" wide strip was draped over the trailing edge of the canopy plexiglas to see how it looks and compares to the width of the rollbar and canopy frame. Looks like 2.75" wide is required to cover the frame, and would look better, too.
The end of the 4" x 96" strip was used to fabricate empennage fairing under the HS. Roughed out one fairing, and checked fit on the opposite side. Will continue this ...
