Finally achieved an acceptable solution to fit without interence on the pilot side and have added 'pattern' strips on both sides to use on the co-pilot side to drill and fit quickly. The 2nd one's always easier.
Vans should modify the 5-pt adapter to use Alum angles, and pre-punch some of the pieces. In addition these pattern strips could be used to drill ribs in the older RV models to retrofit. This is do-able.
Their currect kit assumes a perfectly built seat/rib constructions.
I will fabricate a 2nd set of F-7117A/B for the co-pilot side to replace the aborted attempt to install their kit. ($10.55/each for replacements) or zero to fabricate from scrap material (0.032 sheet)
