Decided to layer a 'patch' onto the restraint bracket, and see if the fit could be improved.
First test was time consuming, and the second slightly faster. Then had to deviate on the fore & aft position between the existing nutplates.
Needs lots more fitting, and rivets to know if this is going to be a good result. Only the fwd side of the pilot bracket was squeezed in.
Also mixed a very small cup of epoxy with the new hardner and some shredded fiberglass, to fill the incorect holes in the bottom cowl left bottom hinge. This batch worked fine. Then scraped and sanded and hung the cowl for fitting.
