Brief Description:  Main gear mounts

Looking at the main gear mounts and what it will take to insert the wing spars, align the spar bolts, and insert difficult bolts. Some bolts MUST be inserted from AFT forward, and others from Front to Aft. The issue is clearance to insert the bolt length, where a nut will clear the obstacle on the opposite side.

I lined up the 'gap' between the top of the left main gear mount and inserted a few bolts, but had to release the arm that attaches to the left side of the fuselage (too much tension). It appears that when the time comes to insert the wing spars, the spara bolts will have to be inserted while the side arm 'floats' freely.

Probably should check the remaining holes, count bolts/nuts, and bag-up a set of 'street h/w' and inventory all the close tolerance bolts. Also need to prepare 'alignment pins' by grinding off threads.

This is all related to the FI housing and positioning that in front of the spar, and new location of the maunal trim cable.
