Picture doesn't show it, but 'painted' a coat of resin on the front contours where material was added and filed down. Then rough sanded for better contour. Also sanded the 'ring' surface, and overlaps.
Removed cowl and clamped together to evaluate the position of the joint hinge before deciding on final position. More later.
