Used dimensions from the aileron drawing for the non-flex hinge option to determine the required cut-off required to convert the flex hinge skin to normal hinge option. Marked and cut with tin snips (image 1). Set the required rivet pitch on the hinge and back drilled (image 2). Then clamped the hinge to the aileron and back drilled the skin. Next clamped an L-angle to the aileron skin and back drilled. Removed the L-angle and maked rivet pitch for the front face of the aileron and dilled with #30 drill. Then re-fitted the L-angle to the aileron and back drilled into the front face of the aileron skin with the hinge, aileron skin and l-angle clecoed in place (image 3)
