I set up my step ladder and taped a 4' dowel to the top. On the dowel I taped a laser pointer. I set it up over the oil dip stick and marked the position with the laser. I then fit the cowl top back on and marked the laser dot. That provided the position for the oil door. Next, I installed a bunch of paper clips on the cylinder baffles. When I reinstalled the cowl top the paper clips pushed down. Now I have an idea on how high the baffling material needs to be.
