Brief Description: Connect elevators to stabilizer
Working on the horizontal stabilizer and elevators. Installed the rod end bearings and adjusted to achieve the minimum throws called out on the plans 30 degrees up / 25 degrees down with no interference from the upper or lower skins. Actually I had about 35 degrees up before it hit the skins and 27 degrees down before the contrl horn hit the rear stabilizer spar. The final up with be limited later by a stop block. The fwd fiberglass tips can be added now and there is some trimming and fitting before they get placed and the back plate gets done via a lay up of cloth/ epoxy. Maybe tomorrow depending on the temps.
