Brief Description: Drilling the elevator push rods
The other day I fab'd a couple of drill "V" jigs to hold the tubing in place. What I did was cut 2 pieces of 1" angle to length and then expoxied them side by side to a piece of aluminum scrap that came with the kit -- works great! I then took some tape and wrapped it around the end of the rod to estaqblish the circumfrance. I took the tape off and used my rivet fan to mark off 6 equally spaced holes on the tape which I then transferred back to the rod. I then inserted the rod ends into the push rod and used the drill press to drill the holes.
