Brief Description: Assembled trim tab servo components
Completed assembly of the elevator trim tab servo. Riveted the cable and bell crank brackets to the servo mount. I mounted the bell crank but had issues with it binding. I used the thinnest washers I had, but had to file away some material on both the brakets and bell crank around the point of rotation. I got it to the point that it moved relatively freely, but not without some friction. However, I think it's good enough as the bell crank won't be in constant motion and that motion won't be very far. I then mounted the servo itself to the underside of the mount and connected it to the bell crank via the servo link. Attaching the servo was a bear as the the space around the nuts was real tight making it difficut to any kind of tool on the nut to allow me to tighten the screws down. I got it done, but it wasn't easy. I then tested movement of the assembly with a 9 volt battery and everything worked just fine.
