Brief Description:  Began tailcone assembly

Today I began to assemble the tailcone back together. First I had to setup up the location. Due to the final size fo the tailcone at the forward end where it attaches to the fuselage ( it won't fit through my normal sized shop door) I had to find an alternate location to do the riveting. I'm not ready to relocate to the garage so I setup the saw horses in our playroom which is right next to the workshop. There's enough space that the kids can still do all the things that they normally do down there and I have easy access to parts, hardware, tools, and most importantly, shop air.

However, the first thing I did befoer heading out of the shop was ot rivet on the access hole cover nutplates to both side skins. This also involved dimpling the nutplates because they are for CSK'd screws. The dimpling was a non-issue.

Once the saw horses where in position, I back tracked to earlier in the plans (per direction) and re-assembled the tailcone.
