Brief Description:  Pirmed interior parts

After almost a month and a half hiatus, I'm back at it. I just retired from the Air Force and I've been extremely busy so it has been next to impossible to get a full day that I could devote to this priming step. It takes a full day for a large batch of parts because of the process I'm using -- wash in Dawn to tremove oils, rinse, scrub with an acid solution (in this case Santech 6100C) and Sctochbrite pad, rince with distilled water, apply Santech 6100 A&B mixture (converison coating like Alodine without the hazards), rinse with tap water, dry, and then prime with AFS (aka Stewart Systems) water-based primer/sealer. So doing all of that just takes time. The problem is thwat once you acid etch, you need to paint within 12 hours or you have to reapet the process, so that means that once I start I don't stop until it's done ergo a full day in the shop. I have yet to do the stiffeners or skins. Those will have to wait until after Oshkosh (a B-day present from my family)!
