Brief Description: Fabricated HS attachment bar support angle
As I wait for my clecos, I continued to work on other areas of the tailcone. Tonight I fab'd the HS bar support angle. I then decided I had better pull out the strobe power supply and AHRS support brackets and see how they are supposed to be installed. I learned 2 things - 1. The AHRS instructions were written as though this item was being installed as a retro fit to a finished tailcone, and 2. it is way easier to install both of these now while the tailcone is still under coonstruction. So I've started on both and will incorporate the new steps where appropriate in the overall construction.
As a side note, the AHRS is designed for the GRT unit and the strobe for the Whelen. Although I have yet to purchase either, I'm 99% sure I'm going with GRT and I'm 100% sure I won't be going with Whelan. Regardless, both brackets are easliy modified to match the screw pattern of whatever I end up buying so I that's why I'm going ahead with the install.
