Brief Description: Deburred and Fluted Ribs, Cut J-Stiffener
Ribs deburred everywhere except the fine notches in the nose area and in the J-stiffener cutout. I will get to those this weekend. I bought a set of needle files for getting in those tight spots.
The ribs were not flat, but I fluted the rib flanges and got them fairly flat, A straightedge along the holes showed they were all aligned well enough to install.
Measured and cut two J-stiffeners from 6 ft. stock to 59.5 in. I still need to sand them back to the correct length of 59 3/8 in. on the belt sander. It was late at night when I did this so I didn't want to bother the neighbors with the noise.
Parts update: I received notice on Tuesday 13 Dec that my TE wedge has shipped. Hopefully, that means I'll be able to finish the ailerons this weekend.
