Brief Description: Assemble RHS LE. Dimple, Prime RH Splice Strip.
I finally found some time today after all of the family requirements of Christmas day were fulfilled to do some work on the plane. The splice strip was throughly deburred and dimpled. No cracks. Primer applied and nutplates installed. The RH skin and all ribs were clecoed in place for final riveting.
It doesn't look like I'll get a riveting partner until Tuesday at the earliest, so next session I'll start working some LH fuel tank parts. I have sealant on order from SkyGeek, but I won't expect that until near the weekend or possibly next week.
Bearing surface of #19 holes deburred using a small strip of maroon ScotchBright
Splice strip dimpled, primed and nutplates installed
Everything clecoed together and ready for final riveting
