Brief Description: Install Nutplates on LHS Upper Flange
Called Vans early this morning and they said the screw holes should have been final drilled, but confirmed a #19 drill to open the holes up. Once the holes were big enough I used a screw to hold the nutplates in position and a cleco. A final adjustment with the awl and the rivet popped right in.
I used the squeezer and installed two different types of nutplates on the upper spar. No issues or difficulties so far. All the rivets were nice and flush.
