Guys, Welcome to the build of my Searey. The Glasair and Kitfox on here were mini-projects that probably aren't worth your time. The Searey is a complete start-finish build. Not included is the flying on the backside. I finished the plane summer of '08, flew my time off it, and then set off on a pilgrimage to Mecca (Oshkosh). Along the way, I stopped in to see an old friend near Chicago. We cruised around in the Searey at 50' over Lake Geneva WI, laughing and listening to Buffet. The next day she came up to the cabin on a lake where I was staying near OSH. Two years later we were married at the OSH airshow and took my Searey and her StarDuster on our honeymoon trip around Lake Michigan. We've been married three years now, and have a baby girl in addition to the two older girls my wife had when we married. It was literally becuase of the Searey that life has worked itself out this way. I'm happy to BS about the airplane if anyone would like
