Welcome to Dave White's record of building a Standard (i.e slow build) Van's RV-7.
The RV-7 is a two-seat, side-by-side all metal low wing taildragger, capable of 170 knot (or more) cruise and with aerobatic capability.
My build choices are (currently!) to go for the tip-up canopy as opposed to a slider because of the greater visibility with no canopy arch in the pilot's eyeline.
I plan to fit a 180 hp fuel injected Lycoming IO-360 with inverted oil and fuel systems and a variable pitch propellor (manufacturer tbd).
Avionics and other system choices will depend on what's available in the rapidly changing market when the time comes for me to make a decision, and also how much cash I have left by then...
