Welcome to my building log.This Aussie Rans S-7S was unpacked in Brisbane Australia and construction started late 2008.Not being a new comer to the home building scene as this is my fourth personel project,two Van RV6's and a Rans S7 short tail,as well as a 3rd Vans RV6 built for a friend in Cairns.Both of my RV6's have won major awards on the Australian homebuilding scene.Work has progressed at a steady pace with light now at the end of the tunnel and the very strong possibility of having air between the tyres and terra firma by fourth quarter 2010.The Rans kit has been a first class kit not without its occasional frustrations but nothing unsermountable or in any way detracting from this very popular and great little airplane.I have taken the time and added a few little additional touches to also complement this kit.Power comes from a Rotax 912 ULS,Poly Fiber products,after market Acrylic windscreen and skylight,EI fuel flow instrumentation,modified dash board installation,rear flight instruments and a few personel improvments to make this one a winner.Enjoy the log 10 out of 10 for Rans for such a great little project.All there is to do now is not under estimate the many hours of enjoyment soon to come.........Happy building
