Aarons Sonex N771AK
Welcome to my experimental aircraft web site. I am building Sonex # 1024 - N771AK. Click on "ALL" to the upper right to view the whole build history. This low-wing, 120hp aluminum 2-seat light sport plane is being built from a kit. I have about 850 hours in the project and now have Airworthiness as of May 29th. I started Late December 2006, took about 2½ months worth of time since then to build a barn/workshop for the project. The kit, the plans, and the overall design of the Sonex are absolutely fantastic. It is obvious a lot of thought and experience went into making construction of this plane go as smoothly as possible. Overall, an extremely enjoyable experience... if you want to build a plane, and don't want to spend the next 5 years and 2000 hours of your life doing it, the SONEX KIT seems to be one of the best options out there!
