Welcome to the Doble Family RV-10 adventure....
(UPDATE 1/23/2022: So, it's been a long break for this project. Kids, business decline, new business, buying a M35 Bonanza, but no work on this kit since 2008... Wings ordered at OSH 2021.)
I've worked up to this point for about 36 years, but two years getting the workshop ready and gathering tools. On 12/29/06 I ordered the first piece of my RV-10.
Why an RV-10? Four seats that can haul real people, 200 mph, good looks, $120,000+/- (2022 Update: $170k), why not? There are not many things NOT to like in the RV-10. Plus my wife says we need four seats so that if one goes down, we all go down...Seriously though, it's a great plane and fits our needs just right.
I anticipate a five year build which equates to 2000 hours more or less. I intend to make this airplane IFR equipped with Lycoming 260hp and constant speed prop. See you at OSH in 2011! (2022 Update: 2023 maybe? But definitely 2024!)
Feel free to contact me via email.
