Welcome to Martin's Aircraft Factory ! Here on this Blog, you will see the realization of a long time dream to build my own aircraft from a great kit, the Van's Aircraft RV-8. Please come check out my Blog often, as you will witness progress made toward the first flight of RV-8 serial number #80414. Don't hesitate to ask questions or provide comments on my build anytime ! My RV-8 project s/n #80414 started from an empennage kit built by Van's in 1997 (hence the low serial number) and a project abandonned by original empennage kit owner. Until 2013, it was destined to be forever aluminum junk, but has since then found new hope to become a flying airplane....
