Welcome to my Team Mini-Max 1550 R "V-Max" website! This project was started on 5/23/2015. The first year was a tough one. My wife, Joyce, broke her leg and I became a home care nurse to help her recover from her surgery. A few months later I developed a severe case of plantar fasciitis in my right heal which caused severe pain and made it almost impossible to stand on concrete. Needless to say nothing was done on the project for almost nine months. Something like this is never accomplished without the help and support of family and friends. I want to thank my wife, Joyce, who has continually encouraged me to not quit. I also want to thank all of my chapter 1553 buddies who have also helped me and encouraged me to not quit. And especially, I dedicate this project to my good friend, Jim Kos, who has "Gone West" way too soon. I've nicknamed the project, "Jim's Hinges" because it was Jim who helped me get past the first huge hurdle of cutting out the hinges. When this aircraft flies it will be flying with Jim's hinges. I miss you my friend and I think about you everyday when I work on this project. Dave Hill, 5/22/2016.
