Brians Pietenpol Web Site
Welcome to my experimental aircraft Web site. In 2006 I ordered my Pietenpol plans and slowly started to acquire the shop tools and materials to build my own Pietenpol Air-camper. This 2 person aircraft is scratch built from plans, it will have the vintage look of the 1930's but built with modern materials and techniques. The Air-camper was first flown in 1929 by Bernard Pietenpol and the plans were drawn and published in the 1932 "Flying and glider manual". There are many of these planes being built and flown today. After 6 years and a few life changes I finally began the build process in December 2012. This website will document the build of our plane, thanks to the great support of my wonderful wife Sue, because of her I am able to pursue my dream. Check back often and follow our progress.
