Brief Description:  Soda Blast Tank Rib Edges for Proseal

18-5:
Step 10: Preparation for rib Proseal. Still experimenting with the soda blaster which seems to leave a nice dull surface with enough tooth to hold Proseal well yet not so much as to remove Alclad. Worked up the edges inside and out to ensure filet bonding and shop rivet sealing with encapsulation of Proseal. Only time will tell whether this helps or hurts. Might be massive overkill considering time and money cost of process. But then you never know, if it's good for the Statue of Liberty restoration because of its indestructible nature, then it may be good for thin aluminum cleaning and surface roughness preparation to aid adhesiveness of applied paints and sealers.
