18-4:
Step 8: Debur, scotchbrite, countersink / dimple the following Wing Tank sub-structure elements. Used the sub-structure dimple dies for all sub-structure elements:
- Drlled bolt holes at nut plates on Zee Brackets so AN 3 bolt would screw in. Forgot to do this before installing K1000-3 nut plates. Used a graduated hole enlargement using # 10 and #8 bits. Had to drill one nutplate on end of one Zee in order to align bolt to hole and re-rivet.
- T-1011 Stiffeners.
- T-1004 L/R, T1005 L/R, and T-1003B L/R Tank Ribs.
- T-1009 L/R J-Stiffeners

Note: Reshamfered the edge of the SS female dimple die to a larger radius for clearance when dimpling the small flanges on the Aft Rib Baffle.

- T-1002 L/R Aft Rib Baffle. Did not dimple extra hole in lower flange of Aft Baffle. I assume this is a drain hole or a witness hole for manufacturing. Use a maginfying glass when looking at the drawings and you can see this hole is untouched throughout the tank fabrication.
