Brief Description: Match Drill and Machine C-Skin R-Wing Top Skins
16-2: Step 2: Final-Drill all the holes common to the top right wing skins. Final-Drill #40 aft most inboard nutplate two holes. Step 3: Final-Drill #19 screw holes on inboard side of top right wing inner skin. Dimple the aft most screw hole for a #8 fluch head screw, then machine countersink all the rest. Step 4: Disassembled clecoed parts. Step 5: Blended the inner and outer top right wing skin joint as before. Used the hand sander this time as my hands got sore after a while.Used #220 aluminum oxide as that is all I had at the time that fit so it too took a while. Tried a long 3M sanding block with #150 aluminum oxide which seemed to do well but after I was done I noted the edge wore a faint grove from the edge of the block. I blended this out. The small 3M hard rubber block seemed to do the best job overall. Step 6: Dimpled top right wing ribs and rear spar using Tatco hand squeezer.
