Brief Description: Drill Hz Stabilizer Rear Spar to Attach Bars
Step 1: Final-drill 1/4 in in the Vertical Stab Front Spar Attach Bracket Step 2: Fabricate four Shims. Step 3: Attach Shims to underside of Hz Stab Front Spar Attach Brackets using double-side carpet tape Step 4: Position Hz Stab onto the tailcone and cleco rear spar in place for drilling. Match-Drill #12 four holes in Hz Stab attach bars and insert AN hardware called out in plans. I used a block of wood the right height to ensure I stayed perpendicular while drilling. Boelube paste really worked well keeping the bit cool and cuting clean. I highly recommend it when drilling through a lot of material.
