Brief Description: Elevators Assembly and Back-Riveting
- Rivet nutplates - Back Rivet Reinforcement Plates - Back Rivet Spar and Shear Clips - Rivet Elevator Rear Spars to Skins using RV-10 Bucking Bar - Blind rivet Rib halves together. - Glue Trailing Edge foam ribs in position using RTV. - Elevators training edges were riveted using the same technique as with the Rudder resulting in the same straight edge with excellent seam closing. - Trim and attach counter weights. - Did not rivet Cable Achor Brackets. Awaiting Rivethead-aero.com replacements.
