Brief Description: Install Elevators and Stop Adjustment
Step 1: Bolt vertical stabilizer to Front Spar Attach Bracket. Step 2: Bolt the elevators to the Hz Stab. They swing free. Step 6: Check for proper amount of elevator travel. I did an preliminary check and material removal as recommended to meet the 30 deg up / 25 deg down travel on both elevators independent of each other. I will recheck after installing the F-1091 push rod and most likely have to make furter adjustment since I left the tolerances tight. Left Up: 30 deg Left Dwn: 25 deg
Right Up: 30.3 deg Right Dwn: 25.1 deg
I had to remove material for down travel on left and right elevator horns but only on the left horn for up travel, and very little at that, since this is the most aft elevator horn.
