Brief Description: Rivet Bellcrank Ribs and Aft Deck
Step 1: Riveted nutplates to Bellcrank Rib Angles. Step 2: Riveted the Cellcrank Rib Angles to the respective Bellcrank Ribs. Step 3: Clecoed the Bellcrank Ribs to the Forward Bottom Skin, Bulkhead, and Frame. Back-riveted the Ribs to the forward Skin and then to the F1007 Frame. The riveting to the F-1007 Frame was particularly challenging. I used an offset rivet tool and a tungsten bucking bar and the shop heads were not real pretty but structurally sound. Step 4: Riveted the Side Skins to the Longerons, skipping the screw attachment holes as indicated in the plans. Step 5: Clecoed and riveted the Aft Deck and F-1009 Frame per the plans. I bucked most of the rivets but did a few with the pneumatic sqeezer when I could reach the rivets (I would be lost without the tungsten bucking bar).
