Brief Description:  Soda Blast R-Flap Ribs; Dimple R-Flap Skins

22-5:
Step:6: Soda blast R-Flap main and nose ribs. I blasted both sides and not just the insides as on the L-Flap to see how much material it would take. I estimated about 2 to 3 quarts of soda which maybe translates to a few dollars for these ribs. Probably not cost effective but the surface of the rib came out with what should provide good primer adhesion. Alumniprep probably is probably easier followed by alondine treatment but seems messy to me and probably time consuming, but that's only a guess as I have not tried it. I rinsed the ribs in water and hand dried when finished. Will use MEK as last prep prior to priming.
