Brief Description: Finished riveting the Left Wing LE wing assembly
17-3: Step 14: Continue riveting the Left Wing LE wing assembly together. Stood the Left Wing LE on end to finish the work. Had access problems with rivet gun when in the cradle. These were difficult to get to and on rounded LE I had difficulty keeping the rivet gun from walking when shooting by my self. Recommend two person crew when shooting these LE rivets. Results were not as good as the others farther aft.Used NAS 1097AD 3-3 rivets on the nutplate to W-1019-L and R Splice Strips instead of the called outAN426AD 3-3.5 rivets. The Oops rivets use a smaller head and the countersink called for this thin material made a better hole.
