Brief Description:  L WingTop Outboard & Inboard Wing Skin Riveting

16-3;
Step 3: Continued outboard top wing skin riveting. Worked from center out to each end. Riveted verticle line of rivets from center to forware and aft end of ribs. Worked horizonally on middle stiffener then forward and aft horizonal rows. Used same routine for top outboard inner skin rivetting. Left overlap joint last as instructed. used 3-4 vs 3-3.5 rivets on doubled walkway. All else as specified. Came out quite smooth without wrinkles. Plans recommends back rivetting skins but again we found normal riveting produced as good or better results and took less time. Need to construct a specal bucking bar to finish those on top of rear spar inboard. Thinking about a steel plate with ground edge at an angle to allow bucking the rivets. Save these to later.
