Brief Description: Blend Left Top Inner Wing Skin Joint
16-2: Step 5: Blend Left Wing Top Inner Wing Skin Joint using block sander and 150 grit aluminum oxide paper. I brought the outside edge to .020 inches thickness one anvil depth of the 0 - 1 inch micrometer. The edges were acually about .018 inches. The forward edge, the one under the outer skin that butts up to the .032 inch wing tank skin thickness, was worked down to approximately .018 inches for the full length of the overlap joint. Instruction picture shows more to be taken down here but I'll take a liitle off the outer top skin and go with that. It may be slightly proud when installed but I do not want to compromise structural integrity (I'lll live with it).
