Brief Description:  Loading at Factory

Monday Morning woke up early and with the short version of the Town & Country back two seats removed, Sandy and I headed to Mexico to load the van with the parts necessary to build the XL fuselage. In addition, I had pre-ordered the Controls Kit so that also had to be loaded. Once there I looked over the length of the parts that would be loaded and was told that they would roll up the longer ones and it was not going to be a problem. So, I immediately decided that I could also get the Gear and Wheels kit and ordered that to be included as well. Unbelivable! It all fit with room to spare. We had to pack our clothes in soft bags as to preclude any scratches to the metal, but it wasn't that hard. We drove from Mexico back to Illinois and picked up some Olfa knives from Wicks. Then on to Olney to visit friends and then to Kentucky to see our Lake property. After two nights at the Lodge near Mammoth Cave, we began our trip back to North Carolina for a night stay at our small cabin. We had guests there and with 9 people staying in a Garage apartment it was crowded enough that we decided we made a good choice to leave the next morning for Palm Beach Gardens. Drove all day and arrived that night.Next morning I was too tired to do much about unloading but on Sunday the 25th, I unloaded the van and inventoried the parts. Only short was a couple of bolts. Put the landing gear and components in the Living Room behind the couch.Note to others: ZAC personnel are very good at fitting that many parts into a short wheelbase Town & Country. Probably saved about $800 in shipping and crating and only spent about $350 in gas!
