Brief Description:  Mask and Paint Aircraft

First I needed to polish the entire aircraft including the area behind the numbers. Well, I just got too tired of doing that so I polished the areas adjacent to the areas where I wanted the paint scheme. Then the yellow was painted as a Base Coat, Clear Coat. Next, the red was painted in Imron. The entire elevator and stabilizer was polished so the paint shown in Figure 3 looks like a really wierd design.

The painting was done by Fred Guarino, Jr. at 561-262-1627. He charged about $800 and that included covering the two other planes in the hangar as well as masking my plane.

The wheelpants are going to be done in a chrome finish to match the polished aluminum of the aircraft with a red and yellow swept design as shown on the rudder.
