Had my first Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) tech inspection from Mr. Jeff Moreau. He gave me some recommendations for the wingtips and to secure/pad the autopilot roll servo's electrical connections, which I immediately implemented.
I used electrical U-clamps (steel, primed) They're bolted down using existing AN3 bolts, but I bumped up the length from AN3-4 to AN-5 to compensate for the additional thickness of the U-clamp. I also threw an AN washer between the clamp and the spar to address steel-to-aluminum issues.
Gotta feel a little proud of his writeup...pressure's on to keep up the standard.
