I ordered new front spars and paid for my first mulligan. Everything fits and the holes are aligned. Houston tackled the tedious job of deburring the hundreds of holes (both sides) and dimpling the holes to which the skin will rivet.
Dimpling both the skin and the spar/rib introduces a 3-D interlocking structural element that vastly increases the strength of the rivet bond--basically, it takes much of the structural load off the rivet itself.
