Brief Description: Left wingtip ribs, platenuts
The left wingtip pretty much lined up really well right out of the box. I did have to shave a little off the aft end, but not nearly as much as the right wingtip. It droops down slightly, but I can't get it any better: The right side droops more, so I'm working its alignment to match the left side's droopage.
I decided to use #6 flush screws and platenuts to attach the wings. Using the existing rivet/cleco holes, I attached #6 platenuts to the wingtip. I dimpled the aircraft's aluminum holes to accept the #6 screws, and drilled and countersank the screw holes to accept the dimples.
The rib installation was pretty straight forward: It fit it into place as deep as it would go without distorting the wingtip's shape, marked end holes, and spanned out a 10-rivet pattern. Debur the rib, countersink the fiberglass, and squeeze the dimples. Easy peasy.
