Brief Description: Redux: Left Intake Snorkel mount, part 3
Now that I have re-glassed the snorkel into a single structurally-sound piece, I 'painted' straight epoxy all over the exterior plus portions of the interior. I thickened the epoxy rosin with cabosil to thicken it, preventing it from running. This helped smooth out the exterior surface, and filled in holes on the interior to prevent water collection.
After the epoxy cured, I spray-painted it white with Rustoleum white enamal.
It don't look pretty, but it'll connect on each end and pass air.
