Brief Description: Reinforcing the cockpit arm rests, part 2
Primer dried, Houston and riveted the angles onto the underside of the arm rests with rivets along the flange. Also, in image 2 you can see the 2 inch tabs I applied to each end, angled downward 90 degrees to rivet through the bulkheads at each end. This gave the angle-reinforced arm rest a little more strength out on the end inboard from the cockpit wall. It still won't hold a person's full weight, but definitely makes a big difference in the arm rests' resistance to downward force.
