Cut 5-5/8 inch off the forward end of the aft door pushrod. This new push rod will be referred to as the “middle pushrod”.
Groove the non factory end of the middle pushrod to resemble the factory end. Drill a 3/16th inch hole 1/4 inch from the end of the pushrod to resemble the factory pushrods. Leave the factory end 1/8 inch as is.
Groove the forward end of the aft pushrod the same as in Step 1.4 except drill a 1/8th inch hole 1/4 inch from the end of the pushrod.
Initially I thought this was going to be an easy task, but it ended up taking significantly longer than I thought.
