I continued trimming the rain gutter back some more in attempt to solve my problem with the top of the door being a little proud. I compared my original cut with the dimensions I got from Ivan and Geoff. The top of the door is now trimmed back to 1 5/16". I now have to build the frame back up to 1/4" for the door seals to fit properly.
I also cleaned up the door hinges and primed them.
