Cut an oversize piece of AS3-032 to make the CB-1002J Conical Gusset. Form the required conical shape in the CB-1002J Conical Gusset using the edge of a table. Keep the tight end of the cone in a fixed position while sliding and rotating the large end of the cone over the table edge. The large end of the cone should match the curved portion of the lower COWL 10 BOT 10-540 inlet. Leave a 1/16 inch gap for the AIR SEAL FABRIC. Trim the gusset to fit.
Drill #40 a rivet pattern into the CB-1 002A Fwd Left Air Ramp and the ramp flange of the CB-1003A Cylinder 2 Baffle. Drill #40 a rivet pattern into the cylinder 2 baffle and the conical gusset. Drill #40 a rivet pattern into the conical gusset and the fwd left air ramp. Match·Drili #30 the hole in the outboard comer of VENT DL-03 Scat Tube Flange into the fwd left air ramp and conical gusset.
FF2-16, Steps 4 & 5
Create a CB-1010J Conical Gusset in a similar manner as the CB-1002J Conical Gusset.
Drill #40 a rivet pattern through the CB-101OJ Conical Gusset and the CB-1009A Cylinder 1 Baffle. Drill #40 a second rivet pattern between the conical gusset and the CB-101OA Fwd Right Air Ramp.
We still have to trim the forward edges to match the baffling.
