Brief Description: Spinner Prep #3 and Fuelage on it's gear
Today I had the assistance of both Brad and Janice. After getting off to a slow start due to having to replace a bulb in the work light (it's located above the hangar door and neither Brad or I like ladders), we put the new tube in the nose wheel. We greased the bearings, re-balanced the tire, and installed the Matco axle. Finally Brad and I installed the nose wheel on the gear.
Brad and I lifted the fuselage so the nose wheel was on the ground and the rear was high enough that Janice could pull the work bench out. The fuselage is now on it's own feet. It's slightly tail heavy until we can get the engine mounted.
Lastly, we finished making the cut out template for the prop hole on the spinner. I needed Brad's assistance to rotate the prop to ensure that there was clearance through the entire path of the propellor's travel.
