Brief Description:  Forward Cabin Floors

Brad assisted me today in re-doing all the parts I un-did this past week. I had problems when I went to mount the cabin floors in that the aft several holes were off about 1/8". I talked with Ken at Van's about some options that I could do if I couldn't figure out the issue. I took out about 50-60 rivets and validated that I did everything correctly, then put everything back together again. It was still off a little after this excercise. We then took a 5' bar clamp and "convince" the aft end of the lower fuselage channel to move inward about a 1/8". Once we did this, we were able to get all the clecos installed. After a few minutes to celebrate and eating dinner, we started installing the floors.

29-20, Step 1

Install the F-1050-R Forward Cabin Floor Panel into the fuselage by inserting its forward inboard corner beneath the WD-1004 Nose Gear Tension Fitting, then slide ils forward edge beneath the F-1001C Firewall Lower Channel. Lower the aft end of the forward cabin floor panel into place and cleco the forward cabin floor panel to the mating structures. Blind rivet the forward cabin floor panel into place. Install the F-10S0-L Forward Cabin Floor Panel in the same way.

29-20 - Completed per plans.
